Crane hire and contract lift options

Option A: Contract lift

A contract lift is recommend if you have something to lift but have little or no experience with cranes and lifting operations.

We provide a complete package to lift your items.

We come to you and assess your requirements then supply a suitable crane together with the staff to safely lift your items.

With a contract lift the insurances for the crane and personnel supplied with it are our responsibility.

With a contract lift we provide public liability insurance for up to £5,000,000 our personnel are covered by employers liability up to £10,000,000 and we cover your lifted items up to £25,000.

B: CPA Crane Hire:

CPA crane hire is a service where the customer rents a crane from a crane hire company. The customer takes full responsibility for the planning, execution, and safety of the lifting operation. The crane hire company provides a certified and well-maintained crane along with an operator, but the customer retains control over the entire lifting operation.

Key points about CPA crane hire:

Responsibility: The customer is responsible for planning and supervising the lifting operation, including obtaining permits, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. CPA conditions are sent with all quotations or you can request a copy at any time.

Personnel: The crane hire company provides a crane operator, but the customer is responsible for any additional personnel required, such as slingers or banksmen and the lifting supervisor.

Insurance: The customer is typically responsible for arranging insurance coverage for the crane and the lifting operation.

Equipment: The customer may need to arrange additional equipment, such as lifting accessories or support vehicles, depending on the specific requirements of the job.
